Dr. Abraham H. Grosswasser
At 13 years of age, Dr. Grosswasser suffered a fracture of the spine. His family was told that surgery would be required and that a long (Harrington) rod would be surgically implanted from the base of his neck to his lower back. In an attempt to avoid surgery, Dr. Grosswasser’s family sought treatment with a Chiropractor. The impact the Chiropractic treatment had on his life was huge as he was able to avoid the surgery and set himself on a course to have that same impact on the world.
Through an accelerated undergraduate program, Dr. Grosswasser was able to complete his pre-Chiropractic credits in just two years. Dr. Grosswasser attended Logan College of Chiropractic, graduating and receiving his doctoral degree in April 2000. After graduation, Dr. Grosswasser moved to southern Italy to begin his career with busy offices in Naples and Messina, Sicily. Dr. Grosswasser performed over 90,000 treatments in three years while working in Italy. He learned to speak Italian and developed a passion for European Football.
Combining his education and the vast experiences from his time in Italy, Dr. Grosswasser practiced next in Boston, MA. Working with the president of the American Spinal Decompression Association, Dr. Grosswasser concentrated his energies on the rehabilitation of painful disc conditions, debilitating degenerative joint disease and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Grosswasser relocated to southern California to be nearer to his family. He spends his time with his wife and child, exercising, playing the upright bass in groups around town, and caring for his three dogs. Dr. Grosswasser regularly attends seminars on numerous subjects, including his passions for rehabilitative care and sports medicine, to better serve his patients.
